Mateshwari Saraswati Jagadamba Mamma Biography - The Academy For a Better World- Brahma Kumaris
Mateshwari Saraswati was the first administrative head of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. She came to the Brahma Kumaris during its' initial period, known as Om Mandali, founded by Dada Lekhraj. Soon, people around there overwhelmed by her sharp intellect and preaching spiritual knowledge. Her given name was Radhe, but she was known as Om Radhe.
Radhe was born in around 1919 in Amritsar, Punjab. Her father, Pokardas was a gold -sliver merchant and mother name is Rocha. She possessed razor sharp intelligence ,a soft and sweet voice as a singer.
She was very affectionate and beloved personality to all. Radhe had studied in Kundan Mall Model School at Hyderabad (Sindh) up to Matriculation. Dadi Prakashmani, who was the Chief of the Brahma kumaris organisation, was her classmate.
Mamma's role in Gyan Yagya is special since the beginning. And this role became eminent after 1950 when the group settled in Mount Abu and started the service across India. She was loved by one and all and fondly called Mamma.
After continuous 28 years of spiritual service and churning of knowledge, Mamma passed away on 24th June 1965
মাতেশ্বরী জগদম্বা স্বরস্বতী মাম্মার জীবনী
মাতেশ্বরী জগদম্বা স্বরস্বতী ছিলেন প্রজাপিতা ব্রহ্মা কুমারী ঈশ্বরীয় বিদ্যালয়ের প্রথম প্রশাসনিক প্রধান ছিলেন। তিনি এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের সুচনা লগ্নে যখন ওম মণ্ডলী নামে পরিচিত ছিল তখনই যোগদান করেছিলেন। তাঁর লৌকিক নাম ছিল রাধে। ব্রহ্মা কুমারীর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা দাদা লেখরাজ যখন ওম মণ্ডলী পরিচালনা করতেন , তখনই এই ঈশ্বরীয় যজ্ঞে মাম্মার আগমন ঘটে। রাধের তীক্ষ্ণ বুদ্ধি এবং দার্শনিক জ্ঞানগর্ভ বচন এবং সুমুধুর ওম ধ্বনির সুর মূর্ছনায় মুগ্ধ হয়ে যজ্ঞের শ্রোতাদের কাছে তিনি ওম রাধে নামে পরিচিত হয়ে উঠেন ।
রাধে ১৯১৯ সালের পাঞ্জাবের অমৃতসরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর বাবা, পোকারদাস স্বর্ণ, রুপার ব্যবসায়ী ছিলেন এবং মার নাম রোচা। তিনি প্রখর স্মৃতিশক্তির অধিকারী এবং গায়ক ছিলেন। সবার কাছে তিনি আদুরে এবং মিষ্টি স্বভাবের মেয়ে ছিলেন।
রাধে ঈশ্বরীয় যজ্ঞে শুরু থেকেই বিশেষ ভুমিকা পালন করেছিলেন। ১৯৫০ সালে ব্রহ্মা কুমারী মাউন্ট আবুতে যখন স্থানান্তরিত হয়, তখন ভারত সহ অনেক জায়গায় নতুন নতুন সেন্টার স্থাপন হতে থাকে, সেই সাথে তাঁর কর্ম পরিধিও বাড়তে থাকে। তিনি আধ্যাত্মিক জ্ঞানের সূক্ষ্ম পয়েন্টগুলো ধারণ করে সকলের দুর্বলতা কাটিয়ে উঠার জন্য অনুপ্রেরণা দিতেন। তাঁর স্নেহ, মমতা, শান্তিপ্রিয়তার জন্য সকলের কাছে মাম্মা নামে পরিচিত ছিলেন।
১৯৬৫ সালের ২৪ জুন মাম্মা দেহত্যাগ করেন ।
